BMX South Australia State Team
Selection Criteria BMX SA State Team 2018-2019
BMX SA is committed to the support and development of athletes as they move through the BMX Pathways. State Team athletes sit within the T1 to T3 levels of the BMXA Athlete Pathway. The aim of the team is to provide riders with additional training and support as they progress along this pathway.
The BMX SA State Team consists of riders from the 11 – 16 years 20” Challenge age groups, who have not only proven their capacity for success on the track, but also have shown a commitment to training and development at State level.
Selection criteria will determine the gender and age split.
On-going assessment and reviews will take place across the period of the Team, with the capacity to remove / add riders based on the outcomes of such reviews.
The BMX SA State Team will be primarily self-funded. BMX SA will provide access to coaching, team jerseys and other training opportunities if funds are available.

Volunteer Coaching Administration Assistant
BMXSA are asking for expressions of interest for help with the administration aspects of the 2018-19 Coaching Program.
We need help in making sure the coaching sessions, both on and off track are organised in a timely manner.
Taking direction from the State Coaching Director, you would be responsible for booking venues, notifying riders and coaches of the sessions and organising camps.
You won’t have to attend the state team coaching sessions and we envisage this work can be predominately done online / by phone.
This is a new role and is not a coaching or team management position.
If you are interested in learning more, please send an email to the State Coaching Director at firstname.lastname@example.org
